AZR is saying goodbye to our wonderful instructor Helen, as she is moving out of state. We thank her for all of the knowledge that she shared with us over the past 6 years and wish her the best.

With her departure, AZR will be temporarily suspending the monthly instructional classes while we find a new instructor to take over, and possibly restructure the classes.

Regretfully, due to a manufacturer recall, AZR has permanently removed all of its Red Point brand auto belay devices from service.

As disappointing as this recall is to many of our customers, AZR is actively involved in evaluating other auto belay devices. However, because your safety is paramount to our business, it will take time to properly evaluate the alternatives against our high safety standards.

Therefore, we ask for and appreciate your patience while we work towards a resolution.

In the interest of doing what we can at this time, please let a staff member know if you need help in finding a climbing partner the next time you check in at the front desk.

Due to a notice from the manufacturer, all four auto-belay systems are temporarily out of service. This situation is being remedied as quickly as possible.

Any climber new to our gym, whether a first-timer or experienced climber, must complete our orientation process. This includes a 10 minute video and a hands-on check out with our staff.

These orientations are given continuously throughout the day. The orientation video and hands-on check out will not be run past 7:30p Monday through Friday, and 5:30p on Saturday and Sunday (the last video will play at 7:30p).
